How to test Payment Capture Failed event trigger

I have set a custom email template on our online store for Payment Capture Failed event. I would like to test if the velocity script works fine, and the template looks ok in live. The question is, how can i test it? How can i produce a payment capture fail on the store to trigger the event?
This is a test shop, so i can mess with the payment gateway and so.

CyberSource has a test server environment you can set up. Their documentation lists specific payment amounts that trigger various rejection codes. If you want to test a successful authorization followed later by a failed capture, you could manually reverse the authorization (in the test environment web site) before trying to capture it. Not sure about other gateways.

To test a Failed Payment scenario, Add and setup "AbleCommerce Test Gateway" payment gateway.
Administration > Configure > Payments > Gateways > Add Gateway
And from gateway configuration page, set its Execution Mode: to Always Reject
