AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

I am on R9 and need to convert a shopify site into able.
I see people referencing import of users & orders using Data port on AC7 but that the Data Exchange has replaced it in Gold. But I find no option to import users or orders - only export. Am I missing something? How can I import these?

Gold doesn't have order import feature as of this point, you will have to write some custom script/queries to accomplish that.
