R8 upload via xml

Folks,

AC Gold R8

1) I am having strange issues trying to upload data via csv files (product and variant). Is there a way to use xml formatted data?

2) Is there a log file created when doing a csv upload? After uploading data and then doing a download, it looks as if some fields (namely ProductCategories) were not updated.

The product/variant upload option supports CSV only.

If you are having trouble, then we recommend that you download a single product with the fields you desire to update. This will give you an example of how the data needs to be formatted.

Updating products and variants requires two separate uploads. First one for the products, and the second for the variants of those products.
