SQL 2008 Support
SQL Server 2008 RC0 is now available. I am looking to order a new server in the next couple of months with Win/2008 and SQL 2008 if it is available. Will AC 7.0 be supporting SQL 2008 by the time it is general release or shortly thereafter?

Re: SQL 2008 Support
I'm sure AC7 will work fine with SQL Server 2008.

Re: SQL 2008 Support
AC7 uses mostly standard SQL Server fields. The are two reasons we have to differentiate between 2000 and 2005. SQL 2000 does not support certain kinds of relationship constraints, but more importantly it does not support varchar(max) fields.
I do not believe forward compatibility will be a problem, but it will likely be a couple of weeks before we can give you a definitive answer.
