Hi,
I installed DataPort_1.0.0.19 and connected to my store successfully. However, the left menu is in a mess, can't read at all. (Please see the attached picture)
My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium.
Can anyone help me with that issue?

DataPort have some UI display issues when running on windows vista. This is a known bug. You can use the Top Navigation menu or home screen links for navigation instead of using the left navigation menu for the time being...

For now the solution is
Browse to the installed CommerceBuilder.DataClient.Client.exe file. Right click and select [Properties], then [Compatibility] put a check mark beside [Disable Visual Themes].
It should then work
