Sharing customer browser/resolution stats

I have been playing with google analytics which can be quite fun and informative. I figured I would share my customers resultion and browser settings for anyone wondering what people use these days. I am also curious if others have similar stats or if they change much depending on customer base.

Resolutions

1. 1024x768 31.51%
2. 1280x800 15.89%
3. 1280x1024 14.70%
4. 1440x900 12.56%
5. 1680x1050 7.44%
6. 1152x864 4.20%
7. 1920x1200 2.79%
8. 1280x960 1.51%
9. 1600x1200 1.46%
10. 800x600 1.37%

Browser

1. Internet Explorer 54.11%
2. Firefox 40.05%
3. Safari 3.61%
4. Opera 1.05%
5. Chrome 0.73%
6. SeaMonkey 0.27%

Sure seems the 'average' family just uses what comes with their OS for a browser.

I was just thinking the same thing as scott would probably have a more "average joe" customer base than the rest of us that have posted. But then again I dont use Firefox either :shock:
