Can't see link

I'm trying to add a link to a manufacturer from a category display page.
I followed the "How To":
Adding a Link
Use this procedure to add a link (content object) in the store pointing to an outside resource, such as a pdf file or add a link to another website. This could be a link to a product manufacturer, an affiliate, or any other online resource you can imagine.

But, when I browse to that category, I don't see any link.
What am I missing?

Some category pages display links and some don't. Experiment with different category grids.

OK - I experimented and only the category4 one would display the link
