Hi,

my previous post was too lengthy .thats why no body had responded..

i have previously find out these link from forum . but i havent found any proper solution for my query.

after registration on "https://secure.shippingapis.com/Registration"
have got "UserName" and "Password" at my mail Id.
in the next page there is a option for the "UserId" i entered "Username" at that place..and click on next button..and after testing again i have sent the email to
E-mail: "icustomercare@USPS.com"

they gave me two API's in second mail these are as follows
http://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll
https://secure.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll

on that page APIs are already filled where i have to enter these API's..first one API is same with that but there were not a option for secure(second one API)..

what is the utility of these two modes
1) TEST MODE
2) ENABLE DEBUG MODE

Now i have "SELECT SERVICE SHIPPING METHOD" :-"USPS Parcel Post"
and fill all the entries for that shipping mathod like
name
handling fee
warehouse
etc


my warehouse address is valid US address..
and finally when i select any product from basket and select Country ,State,City and valid postal code ..so still it gives message like

"No shipping methods are available for the current items and/or the given destination. "

Are the products correctly in the warehouse? I think it has to do with some product or warehouse setting. Make sure you have a weight in the product. Try making a new test product.

Yes i have added product currectly with weight...
i am confuse with API's . i have asked you before ...what is the utility of these two API's which is given by second mail of test confirmation.
i have to change these with default or not.......

I didn't have to change anything when I set it up. I wondered if I needed to, so I went ahead and tested and it worked fine. I think the email from USPS is a generic one but Able has already incorporated the correct APIs in the code.

You dont need to do anything with the API.
If you cant get shipping prices there must be a setting wrong or something missing from your product or warehouse.

Try adding a test product.
Post a screen capture of your warehouse settings or product info or maybe post your sites test url.

Hii,

My site's URL is "www.silversentiments.com/commerce" .
i have defined shipping estimates but these are not working correctly .
can it is possible with only Postal code without country , state ,city option ? i need only postal code text box and estimate shipping on the bases of this .

can we make the change to return residential rates on the estimator?

It works for me if i enter country, state, city, and zip.

USPS works fine as designed. You have everything installed correctly.

Now to modify the estimator not to require other fields Im not sure how to do that. But should work as USPS dose not need that other info.
