FCKEditor

Post by trozzi » Tue Dec 09, 2008 9:05 am

Appears to be an issue with the version of FCKEditor included in the Able Installation when using FireFox 3. Is there an update available or in progress?

Thanks
Thomas

Could you explain the problem?

When clicking to the editor when using FF3, the existing text is not copied from the page you are editing to FCKEditor. When you save the text in FCKEditor, it does transfer back to the web page.

I did engineer a workaround already, but I don't understand why is is broken.

Thanks
Thomas

There seems to be some problem with FCK editor, in FF3 the FCK editor doesn't come up with the exiting text. FCK editor and FF3 will be fully functional in some future version of AbleCommerce.

I was updating to the latest fckeditor release and I discovered this bug is still present. It has been logged as bug 7853.
