New page within Check out workflow

Hello,
Can we insert a page within the checkout workflow that we can capture custom data in? For example, a page that would capture communication preferences (opt-in to newsletters, etc.)

Certainly, however the code in onepagecheckout is quite complex so take your time. To work with the checkout code, simply look in ~/ConLib/OnePageCheckout.ascx.
