Displaying a Pop-up box if a person doesn't Checkout

If a person leaves the Checkout page without checking out,
I want to display a pop-up box with a coupon offer or a survey.

Has anyone ever done this? Is this easy to do with AC7?

How you would decide that this customer has closed checkout page. I guess that its supposed to be some handling on abandoned carts. Have a look at following thread viewtopic.php?f=47&t=8817
