BUG: Product editor does not work in IE 9

I can't believe this still isn't fixed! I reported this long ago and got bitten by it today, lost a lot of time in working with a product! You have to set IE 9 in compatibility mode because if you go to add a hyperlink to content of a product description the editor is locked and you can't get out of it, back to your content, etc. Very very unfortunate and MUST be fixed along with this coupon code showing umpteen times on an invoice.

If this can't be fixed by providing an updated editor then there should be code put in the HTML for the editor to force compatibility mode.
