Minimum order exception

Is there a way to exempt a product (for example, a digital goods item) from the minimum order price?

I think this would need some customization work. In order to accomplish this you need to update Minimum Purchase code in OnePageCheckout and BasketControl that if order only contains some specific product then don't enforce minimum order price check other wise handle checkout normally.

Its possible to setup a minium sale for shipping methods. That might work better.
