PayPal Order Status Options

When a payment is made using PayPal, what are the status options in the Payment column? To ask the question another way, what are the IPN statuses that can be displayed in the Payment column? We're new to PayPal and are trying to understand how the PayPal responses will be seen within in the Able Commerce Orders section versus what we would see in the PayPal manager - particularly when PayPal is reviewing a payment for potential fraud.
