Can I use Free Trial without DEV version?

Can I use Free Trial without DEV version?

HI,
If I download a Free Trial version of AC - Can I just enter a "LIVE" license key after purchased ?
Is that right? Or I need to use "DEV" version?

You should just be able to use the new live key and it should be OK.
The only difference between Trial, Dev, and Live are the license keys as far as I understand.

You are able to use a live key with the downloadable evaluation. It does not have to be a development key.
