One of our customers requested the functionality for printer friendly product pages (we are running 7.0.6). I only found a old post that still was dealing with the ColdFusion cart. Does anybody have any advice on how to do this in 7.0.x without a lot of programming?

AbleCommerce 7 store pages are already printer friendly. Out of the box store themes are bundled with print.css file and you can try print previewing product pages.
