Can AbleCommerce 7.0 do this?

We want to charge a FLAT RATE shipping charge PER item in a category in our store.

Can AbleCommerce 7.0 do this? If so, how?

Sadly, it would appear AbleCommerce is incapable of charging a single flat rate shipping charge per item in a category. This must be some major advanced functionality that has'nt been thought of, or needed by anyone yet... right?

one way could be to create a warehouse and then define shipping method with flat rate available only to that warehouse. Then go to product batch edit and list products for desired category. Finally set warehouse for all products in that category to the one you just added in previous step.
