Possible bug in variable priced product added to wishlist

We have several items in our Ablecommerce store that allow the customer to change the price (variable price) with a set minimum cost and no maximum cost. These are donations for a non-profit. We noticed that if you add one of these items to your wish list it comes in at 0 cost. You can then go to your wish list and add the item to your shopping cart and checkout. The cost stays at 0. Is this a known bug or do we have something configured wrong?

You are correct, this appears to be a bug.

The code for the wishlist feature is pretty simplistic in design. It doesn't take into certain requirements of the product like the normal add-to-cart programming does on the show-product page.

Hopefully this can be addressed in a more effective way in a future release of AbleCommerce.
