Hi,
I am using group pricing for my customers. We have a large range of products. 99.9% of the products have pricing in place. Every now and then, when we add a part we may forget to add the price to one of the group's pricing. So for them it shows at $0.
In that case, I want to not let them check out if they add it to the cart, or not even let them add it to the cart. What file do I need to edit so that I can prevent the customer from buying something at $0? We are working to fix all of the pricing so it shouldn't be a problem but I need a temporary workaround until the pricing is resolved.
Thanks!
zero price
Re: zero price
It is probably going to be a better long-term solution to fix the pricing. However, you might want to look at the \conlib\buyproductdialog files to see if you can hide the Add to Cart button when the amount is $0. I have a feeling that it is going to confuse your customers though and generate some unneeded phone calls.
When you say that you are using "group pricing"...what do you mean exactly? What price field and what page are you on? There might be a quick fix using product batch edit or the product update CSV file by way of the Data Exchange features.
Thanks,
Katie
