Tabbed catalog item interface

Post by IndyTwoStep » Wed Feb 13, 2008 8:54 am

(skip ahead to MY QUESTION if you prefer to skip the intro)

Hello all, my name is Rick, and I'm from Indianapolis. I've been looking around the forums for awhile, and purchased AC7 a couple months ago. I am getting ready to ramp up production of an all new site for my company (been wanting to start this for a while now, but am just now starting to wrap up a lot of big projects that kept interrupting me), and I'm looking forward to diving into AC7!

Hopefully this isn't redundant, apologies if it is...

MY QUESTION:

Each page has an item description field to enter HTML, is it possible, without heavy source editing, to have each product have a tab section on each product similiar to what you see here:

http://www.dell.com/content/products/ca ... l=en&s=bsd

So that you could have custom named sections for each product, say: General Description, Specifications, Shipping Info - For example? And if it does require source editing, has anyone made posts on walking people through how this is done? And if not, how much would you estimate it would cost to have someone change AC7 to do this for me?

Thanks for any answers! I plan on spending some time around here this year, hopefully after I start figuring out the system, I''ll even be able to answer a question or two

Thank you!

I may have more questions on that implementation, but I'll tag them onto that post. Thanks for the help!
