Using Checkout Login with One Page Checkout

Post by billyudi » Fri Jun 13, 2008 1:58 pm

I like the login screen that is used with the Checkout with Login Scriplet. Anyway to utilize that but still use OnePageCheckout?

I agree with you 100%. It would be great if we could have the login fields be at the top of the one page checkout or optionally start with the Checkout Login and then move to the the one page checkout. We had a consultant suggest that the lack of this feature was one of the biggest reasons for our high abandoned card rate.

I am going to see if I can figure out how to do this over the next few days. If I get an answer, I will post it.

You wouldn't believe how many times people had told us/ we had talked about how cumbersome the multi-page checkout was on our old store and how it might discourage shoppers! I notice on your site that you have made the login at the top of the one page checkout more obvious- that might be all you need to do.
That's a very attractive site.
