Need an experianced developer to help with FireFold

Post by Robbie@FireFold » Mon Jun 16, 2008 9:22 am

Hello Again,

I have sent emails out to every AbleCommerce partner listed as a developer/modder with only a few responses. I have yet to receive a quote from anyone. This is a large part of my project so I need to get some numbers on the table shortly.

My features I’d like to see done:

1. Return Manager – Customer can process/make a return online without calling a CSR. I have a example of how this works in real time on my current store.
2. Back in Stock Email Notify. Customer puts their email in a form on a out of stock product. When we make it back active – instant trigger to customers letting them know it’s ready for purchase.
3. Quick books Integration – I saw the post on the forum on the software being made. Need something like this.
4. Custom Quotes – Would like the ability to generate a cart(or quote) to a customer. Email them a link – have them login and pay for cart themselves. Dell has this setup currently.
5. Discounts shown when a customer logs in. Currently only shown after checkout. I want my resellers able to browse their price real time.
6. Free shipping on individual products - Explains itself but I want a Free Shipping button to appear when this is applied to that product.
7. Group Pricing - Don't believe this came with 7. This ties into 5.. would like multiple options for user groups on pricing. Ex. % over cost, % below price, etc.

This is my shopping list for items I'd like to see implemented before FireFold goes live with Able. Some tasks seem complicated, but I can promise I'm an easy customers. Quite a few employee's have coding ability/knowledge, but we are truly to busy with our jobs trying to run an E-Store.

Feel free to call me at 704-979-7103 or email Robbie@FireFold.com

If you know someone who is capable of this, but doesn't browse the forum please send this over.

Thanks in advance!

Anyone? Any partners? Any Recommendations?

This is a great opportunity to start with us. FireFold has and will need more work done in the future.

I figured someone would eat up the chance for this job.

I would be interested for a summer project, but it's over my head at this point. A couple of months ago one of the Able partners emailed me about doing some work on it, but I'm just not up to speed yet enough to commit. Some of us know the older versions very well, but not AC7. Then there are a lot of C# developers out there that don't know Able. AC7 is a lot easier for them to work with than previous versions, but there still isn't a lot of documentation out on it.
