Poor Quality for Main Image

I have searched old posts to see if there is a way we can fix this, but haven't been able to find anything. Please take a look at the following screenshots.

Could someone explain to me why the product images look fine in thumbnail size (on category grid page), yet on the product detail page, the main image appears blurry?

We are getting ready to go live within a couple days, and need to get these details taken care of. Thanks in advance for the help!

It looks like you are using some kind of special display code to resize the main images? and your thumbnails are the actual size of the image.

the size of the actual images is 600 x 600. the reason i know this is because once i click on the main image, the full size image appears in a pop-up, and the quality is perfect.

Not sure what's going on here.

That is what I noticed. I think it is the imageresize.aspx that is doing it. That is not part of an Able 7 install and it's not doing a good job of resizing. I googled the page name and came up with some posts like the following:
