Oversized Shipping

Is there any good direction for dealing with Oversized Shipping or Truck carriers? I have spent a decent amount of time experimenting with multiple warehouses and percentages and min charges along with the 'we'll get back to you with a quote" scenario and nothing really seems to be working. There is one company that I know of that has been able to create some custom programming to fit my needs but it has only been done for Able 5. I am using Able 7.

You might check with web2market.com. They are going to be doing add-ons for Able7 like they did in Able 5. The logic didn't change much between the two builds for a lot of things, but the add-on would need to be re-written in .net.
