I am using an outside affiliate system that also processes sales for my products. Their system supports a 'remote-cgi' for registering the sale - passing back the customer info, product ordered, quantity, etc.
From what I can see this is very similar to the way PayPal Express and Google Checkout work - the user leaves our cart, makes his payment through the outside billing system and PayPal Express or Google Checkout write back to AbleCommerce with customer name, address, etc. AbleCommerce then creates the order and customer records.
Is there a method or page or sample I can look at to configure a custom version of this for my affiliate system/payment gateway? Or a method to import the sale?
