Multiple products on a page

I have some products that are almost the same product just slightly different. Since most of the info and specs are the same i thought it would be good to have all 5 products on the same page.

I thought i could build a kit, and put the 5 products as a part of the kit using a radio button. This works. But i dont like how the product looks once in the basket. Its like (Kit) with the rim you want. So if someone wants to order all 5 of the products but different quantities of each. The shopping chart shows 5 Kits.

Is there a way to remove the kit and only leave the product that was selected?

Or maybe just make a custom product page that looks like kits but is not.

If they are separate products in the database with no options , the CategoryGrid3 has a quantity box for each product and one add to cart button.

Welll they kind of have options.

We offer to add a valve to each product at a discounted price.
With kits this is simple i can use a check box for "Add valve" And if they order 5 rims they get 5 valves.

Im sure there is other ways of adding the valve if order with a rim.
But when i made the kit page it looks nice. It just looks weird in the cart.
