I am looking at buying new shopping cart software. I have been demoing ablecommerce 7. I like it but I sell very cheap items that need almost no description. People are going to order 50+ different items on an order. I want to display a lot of items and have them be able to order lots of items directly from one page...and I have price breaks..... Please look at the following link to show what I want.....currently it appears that this software makes the customer move to an individual detail page to order.....can I get around that?

Certainly. There are multiple ways to present catalog products to the visitor with AC7. However to match your example URL exactly, you'll need to make a few customizations to one of the existing catalog display grid controls.
Edit one of your demo categories and set it to use the Category List setup instead of any of the Category Grid controls. You'll see how the products in the category are now displayed in a columnar format. Visitors can still click through to a detail page if they link, but they can also add to cart from right there if they want.
Now the customizations have to kick in: You'll need to modify the control so that your brief product info is displayed - no biggie. But then a quantity needs to be specified. A little harder. The tricky part will be getting the volume discounts to display as you want - I haven't personally worked with volume discounts so I'm not entirely sure how AC7 displays them. But I'm sure there's a way to modify the control to do such a thing.
If you're familiar with .Net programming, you can make the changes yourself. Otherwise you'll need to hire a developer to customize it for you. Some times Mazhar here in the forums will fullfill requests such as this but I don't want to speak on his behalf. I think it all depends on the complexity of the request and subsequent time involved.
Nice thing about AC7 is whatever it doesn't do, it can be made to do with the right tools and people involved.

Re: adding to cart from catagory page
I had the same question,
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=9238
But i would like to have 1 Kit option for each product as well.
Also would it be bad to try and remove the individual product page, like on the example provided that page give you no more info so why even have it?
