Re: Server error attempting to add new fedex account
Error 500 usually (and I mean 'usually') relates to a server-specific error. In other words, IIS couldn't process the files well enough to even render a page. Often it's a permissions error, but overall these 500 errors a real pain to track down.
Have you tried other gateways to see if they will add a second instance?

Hi, thanks for the assistance. No, but I did once you suggested it and the UPS version worked just fine. Given I needed to "get the job done" I went directly into the table and copied an existing record, saved it then went back in Admin and made necessary edits to the account number, etc. Something about saving a 2nd Fedex record seems to upset Able, at least with my version.

Re: Server error attempting to add new fedex account
I'm having a similar issue/concern.
FedEx doesn't allow us to create a new Account.... but there's a 'new' option available when adding an Intergrated shipper for "FedEx Web Services Module" which has a statement that says: "This is an untested FedEx integration using web services and is not ready for general public release."
My concern is this: I cannot get the functional FedEx option to work, but when I use this untested FedEx Web Services Module, it appears to configure perfectly. At least I don't throw an error when this comes up. Very strange.
Anyone from Able have any thoughts?
UPDATE -- I really need to spend more time reading other threads before posting.
Apparently SR1 addresses this .... and I probably need to simply follow instructions.
