Free shipping over a certain amount?

Does 7.0 have a feature that allows you to not charge shipping when the sale is over a certain amount? For example free shipping over $100.

You can create a coupon that will grant free shipping. You can even make it only apply to a specific shipping method or all shipping methods.

Can this coupon be done in 5.5 or is it a new feature?

Coupon can't be done in 5.5 without custom programming.

In addition to the coupon, you can also make a shipping method to do this automatically.

Create a flat rate shipping method, call it "Free Shipping over $100" (or whatever). Set the rate to 0, and the minimum purchase to 100. The method will then only appear to customers who have enough goodies in their basket.

Neither of these features can be done in AC55, they are new to AC7.
Cheers,
Logan

We are doing this in Able 5.5 by using an Able method we have set up.

Yes, in Able 5.5 it wouldn't be too bad, it's just a little custom code. Depends on how complex you make it.

Anyway I am much happier with the shipping tools in AC7.

Yes, I know you all put a lot of work into shipping in AC7 and I think we will all be happier with it.
