Possible to change the access password for SQL database?

I need to change the database user password I setup that AC is using on my host. Is that possible?

Make a backup first...

try renaming your database.config file in the ~\App_Data\ folder. Then hit the site URL. That should fire the install page and let you re-specify your SQL connect parameters.
