I think there is a bug in the volume discount....
I have a group called Member, and others are treated as regular customers. There are some products for which I am supposed to have separate volume discounts for customers and members. So to accomplish this task I created a volume discount for members and added to member group, then I created a volume discount for customers and added it to all groups.
Now When I am customer I can view customer discount and volume discount is working fine for customers. But When I logged in as Member I can view both member and customer discount (in the basket screen), but I am charged with customer discount.
Is this a bug? If not how can I fix this?
When this is working fine with customers I guess it should work fine with members.
This implies that for a product the volume discount is taking all groups discount price by default irrespective of whether the product is checked out by a normal customer or a specific group customer (group which has a separate volume discount for the same product).

Does the discount for regular customers result in a larger discount than the member discount? The member would be eligible for both discounts, since members are also in "all groups". So the calculation won't exclude them from receiving that customer discount if it is a higher value than the member discount.

Yes,
Because we have a separate prices for members and customers, members are charged less compared to customers so there are some products which have less volume discount for members than customers.
Is there a way to fix this?
