To Kit or not to Kit. That is the Question.

Hello,

I'm selling a product that's more like a cell phone. You buy the product one time and then I charge a monthly service. When you buy the product you have a standard service that's required then you can add a couple more service options if you like.

What's the best way to do this, do I use a Kit on the main (physical) product?

Do I create the monthly services as items and then I add subscriptions to those service items? How do I attach those services to the main product?

I'm having a similar problem. I can't figure out how to create a product that has a variable subscription price, depending on the options you choose. As far as I can tell, the only way you can add variable recurring charges would be through kitting.
