how can i disable the "wishlist" button?

i searched the forum's archive but i didn't find a solution for this matter. At this moment i don't want
the "wishlist button" on my page and i don't find the checkbox on the admin to disable it. Is it possible?
The only solution i found in this forum (it was published on jan 08, so maybe something has changed since then) is
to get into the code and add <!--> to the wishlist code line.
