Hi everyone,
I did a search and nothing came up on meta tags on the able commerce support site. I put keywords in on almost all my pages, but do not have a clue how to do meta tags and really need to for the whole search engine thing. Can anyone give me VERY basic examples of how this is done?
Thanks!

Re: How to set up meta tags?
Well, most of what is in that discussion was over my head I'm afraid. I don't understand where to put the meta tags? Nor do I get how to create one in the correct format?? For instance, if I want to make meta tags for my homepage where do I do this at? AND where to I place them once I am there and how do I format them?? Again, most of the discussion was not basic enough for someone like me who simply is not familiar with this stuff...

Re: How to set up meta tags?
For the homepage for example, if you go to content and layout and click the homepage scriplet, you can enter your meta tags in the html head (or head) text box. You should enter something like
<meta name = "keywords" content="list of your keywords"/>
<meta name = "description" content = "your description"/>
On each category and product edit page, you will find the same field for adding the data for that particular category or product.
