Setup kits with dynamically changing product offering

I know the subject line may be a bit confusing so I'll elaborate the best I can.

The store has a Kit item to build a bed set (Mattress, box spring, bed frame). There are different sizes for each of these items: King, Queen, Full, Twin.

The kit begins with selecting the Mattress size, then box spring (the box spring has different heights), and finally the bed frame. When a user selects the King size Mattress, how can I set the Kit to ONLY display the King Box Spring and King Bed Frame? Basically, I guess I'm looking for a way to associate several products together within the kit so that some display conditionally, if that makes sense.

If you turn on inventory control and set the inventory to a high number, since it doesn't sound like you're using it. You will then find a page in the options, where it will show all of the possible combinations of options, you can then unselect the combination that are not available. Then the choices will become conditional.

I'm not sure I fully understand your response, Mike.

I just enabled Inventory Control for all items that are associated with the Kit and set them all to 100 In Stock. Which page should I be looking for to setup the combinations?

I had a mental melt down there, you can accomplish this using options not kits. Sorry for the confusion!
