Error log question
We launched a large campaign today that increased traffic and orders to our site. We received many of the errors below in a very close time line from each other.
Message - Unhandled exception during checkout.
Debug - String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated.
1. Could this error be from inadequate bandwidth or servers resources?
2. Shopping cart communication failure with UPS?
3. AbleCommerce software failure?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Gio

Re: Error log question
This could possibly be related to AC.... seems like you are using some old build.
Can you post details of your build from Help->About section?

Re: Error log question
Is it 10125 or 10152?
I guess its 10152. If so thats good.
In past we have seen similar bug but it was fixed. In build 10152 it should already be fixed. I wonder if the upgrade was all done correctly. Did you have any customized files?
Also are you using SQLServer 2005 or SQLServer 2000?

Re: Error log question
1) My AC software is on build Build 10125 is this SR1?
2) So the next step is to upgrade to SR1a and the build number is 10152 which is this bug fix ftp://ftp.ablecommerce.com/patches/AC7_ ... ug7063.zip ?
I want to clarify can anyone confirm this is correct?
Thank you,
Gio

Re: Error log question
I have Build 10125 and I applied this bug fix ftp://ftp.ablecommerce.com/patches/AC7_ ... ug7063.zip.
The build did not change to 10152. Did I download the wrong patch?
