Email Setup

Post by albatreeq » Sun Oct 19, 2008 4:19 am

I have configured email exactly as mentioned in the help document. But when I send a test mail, i do not get any confirmation that the mail sending is success or failure. The sent mail is also not received. What could be the problem? :(

Are you trying to configure GMail as SMTP Server. Check the following thread.

I am using a dedicated server. The outgoing mail server is mail.itsouq.com. I am using MS Outlook to pull emails from this server and i am able to receive/send all emails from Outlook using this server. But when I send a test mail through AC7, the email gets lost. The mail does not go through and there are no error messages in AC7 that the email could not be delivered. :(

Not sure about this but I suspect that it is an issue with the configuration of the mail server itself. It is not allowing "local to external" mail.

What is your mail server software?
