Featured product to display on home page content

I want "featured" products to display on the home page content. What snippet do I use?

I have the same issue.

I would really like to add non-category specific products to the "Featured Items" section on the homepage so I can just pick and choose whatever product that I want at any given time to "Feature" as part of my marketing initiatives and advertising specific to the homepage.

Currently, I have have the "Recently Viewed" tab below "Featured Items" and would like to have the "Recently Viewed" tab removed from the homepage as it is too random and specific to daily sales worldwide as they come into the site. "Recently Viewed" really, is for customers to specifically see what they were browsing the last time they logged in. On the homepage prior to logging in, and for new customers, it is pointless.

Is this a "scriptlet" adjustment contained to scriptlet controls? How is this accomplished?

Able comes with a featured item display on the home page by default. You can add it back with [[ConLib:FeaturedProductsGrid]]

There it is! I was looking for that. Does anyone have a cheat sheet with all of the ConLib Control type and descriptions?
