Admin Search Function

When using the search function in the backend,

I want to be able to search by Manufacturer Code. When I try, deselecting titles only, nothing shows up.

Am I missing something? Solutions?

By default it doesn't search by manufacturer number or sku. Someone posted code on the forum recently to search by sku- I don't have the link, but it was fairly recently.

Yes that code can be modified to support the manufacturer field as well. In fact that search makes use of the same components as used by advance search so every thing that is available in the advance search on store pages could be done in that Sku report as well. The code is updated to support the manufacturer field as well. Check the updated code here
