Manufacturer sidebar

I would like to have a sidebar on the right that lists manufacturers and links to their websites.
I couldn't find a pre-built side-bar for manufacturers.
Has someone already created this and is willing to share the solution?

This will need some customization, first you need a place to keep the website URL information for the manufacturer. You can make use of ac_CustomFields to keep this URL information and attach it with the manufacturer. Then you can create a user control simply listing the manufacturers names as links by having their redirect location set to the appropriate URL.
