Are Custom (monogram) Variants Availiable?

Post by Jaz » Thu Nov 20, 2008 12:59 am

I thought this was a feature, but I can't find it. I want customers to be able to type in a custom length for a product and be charged a customization fee. Most software calls this a monogram option. Is this available in Able? If so, where do I set this up?

What about using the product templates with customer fields.

The site http://www.uptownenterprises.com has that using product templates. He had to pay for custom programming to get the price based on the number of characters. If you don't want to spend a lot to have it programmed per character, you could just set a price based on the average number of characters. Then make an option with two selections-- monogrammed or not monogrammed.

Actually I was just looking to add a flat charge if anything was added into the custom box.
