Standard & Express PayPal Outdated 7.0 asp.net

Post by bigtires001 » Tue Dec 23, 2008 3:57 pm

Hello,

I am using Paypal Website payments Pro. This gateway is managed by able commerce in the gateway methodas area of the admin section. I got the credit card proccesing part to work.

Anyhow at the bottom of the paypal gateway info form you can select the type of credit cards you would like to accept as well as select if you want to accept paypal.

i will explain how to recreate tit but here's the problem

When you shop, then hit the "chekout" button fill out the info and hit continue. you will see an order summary along with a header "payment method" here you can check "credit card type" or "paypal".

If you select paypal and clcik the link, the system throws an error becasue the built in gateway is submitting the order to http://www.paypal.com/xclick. this is an old url that no longer works "says the paypal tech"

I need to change that to http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

Where can I find this part of the system? Is this happening to anyone else?

Notice if you use a regular paypal account only; the orange "checkout with paypal" button appears, and works fine.

However if you go into checkout as you would for a credit card order then select paypal within the checkout the system, you get the error that told the paypal tech the link is outdated. he also noticed the links for the pictures paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/x-click-but1.gif could become outdated.

Any suggestions Please help?
