Adding SKU to Admin Search

I have some very frustrated users at my company who don't understand why there is no option to search for SKU in the admin area.
/Admin/Catalog/Search.aspx

I see some documentation to add SKU to store search which I did, but I need to be able to search by SKU in the admin side as well....seems strange that the option is not there already...
