Edit product screen in FF - sliding off the screen

When I first go to an edit product screen, I see the mess shown below. If I click 'save' or 'refresh', the screen comes back normally.

Anyone else having this problem in FF 3.0.7?

I have that intermittently on one site when I work on the real site, but not on my test site. I think the problem has to do with the page load speed and a slow connection. That is the only thing I've been able to figure out.
