Login permission level change for Stoneedge access

so I've been using the stone edge order manager with AC7 with no issues. Until I updated AC7 to 7.0.0 SR2. At this point the login script from order manager started returning an error that the user did not have sufficient priviledge to download orders

so the AC7 id I had defined has "manage orders" permissions

since the AC update, this download will only work with an AC7 user id defined as "super user". Then the download script works fine.

I checked with Stone edge support, they claim no changes to this mechanism, they simply rely on the AC function "userhasaccess"

any thoughts on this?

is it possible that I've not applied the correct updates and gotten something out of sync on the authentication side? I did look at the scripts and it simply relies on the results of the "userhasaccess" function to allow the download or not.
