Help help resolve before launch!

Hello. We are planning on launching our upgraded store this Friday, but, before we do, I wanted to try to resolve some weird issue we are having. It seems that for whatever reason, a lot of times when a page loads, many of the graphics will be missing, with just the empty placeholders with alt text in place instead. Now, this is on my local machine, but, I did not notice this behavior at all with the old site code.
Any ideas for me? I'd hate to launch Friday and find that this is a problem that persists on the production server.

I haven't seen that issue with sites I have upgraded. I have had a sporadic issue with product admin page where it loads and looks weird with fields off to the right of the screen, but when I refresh the page, it displays fine.

What version of ajax are you running? I'm still on 2.0, so, I don't know if it has something to do with that, or with it being on a low-end local machine running Vista. I'd still love to hear any other ideas anyone might have for me.
