Stop discount being applied to shipping charges

I am new to able e-commerce - I have a 25% off coupons on all my products - however the discount is being taken on shiping also - how do I stop the discount on shipping but keep it on my products?

I am not clear, could you please explain your question. How you setup your current coupons? If you want to provide only upon product line items then you should only create coupons with type Product Coupon.

I fingured it out - I set up the coupon as an order instead of a product - thank you for your assistance
