Categories wont delete

Categories wont delete

When I have a main category with a bunch of products and subcategories, I cant get it to delete and delete all the sub items. Whats up!?

Could you explain what actually happens when you try to delete such category? Check the error log for errors related to delete operations, also are you observing any operation timeout when category to be deleted contains a lot of children.

Basically it is just timing out I guess

You need to increase the timeout period. Please have a look at following thread
