Change in email address not working

Hello,

I'm trying to fix this isssue, wondering if anyone has had this issue and if there's a quick fix for this

A customer placed an order. At that point she updated her email address to a NEW one. When the email confirmation was done it went to her OLD email address. When i go to her profile everything seems current and up to date. The problem arises when the order is placed and the email ends up being sent to her OLD email address.

What is you application version? I am unable to reproduce it on 7.0.3. Order Confirmation Email is being sent to updated Email address.

Do you know where I can see what version I have? I know we have version 7 but unsure as to what's the latest update.

Go to merchant side and check it under Help -> About AbleCommerce

It seems to be working. The only issue i see which is not critical but confusing is the fact that the email field shows up on all the address books entries. If a customer is adding someone to their address book they will wonder why their email address is appearing in somone else's address portion.In the future it may be better if this email automatically changes with the email account of the user when the 'Change your Email Address and Password' feature is used...not quite sure if this would be opening a can of worms.

In fact user name and Email address are two different things. Application offers to have different user name and password. In fact in AbleCommerce one can have user name other then Email address all he needs to remove the Email required check on user name. In AbleCommerce 7.0.2 Plus user can update his/her username and Email address both.
