Google Analytics Revenue Tracking Off

Post by PPCQueen » Mon Jul 27, 2009 9:48 am

we use the GA widget and it appears that 99% of the orders are tracked, but the revenue is off. it tracks fine when the order only has a single item, but when it's a multiple-lined order, it takes the unit price of the 1st item and multiplies it by the total quantity. revenue is very off. is there anything we need to configure differently for multiple-lined orders?

Hello,

Thanks for fixing the bug. This will definitely improve the accuracy of our reports. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that Google Analytics is somehow tracking our discounts twice in our reports. The revenue reported in the dashboard is correct, but under transaction and total revenue tab in google analytics, the amount actually counts our 30% discount twice, and it adds shipping and tax as the revenue. I am curious if this is a bug in AC7 as well. As always, any advice would be much much appreciated.

I looked at code in the footer of our receipt page, and it only uses the ConLib: Googleanalytics widget.
